Stars: - Saffron Burrows, Thomas Jane, LL Cool J & Samuel L. Jackson
In an attempt to find a cure for Alzheimers Disease a team of scientists increases the brain size of 3 test sharks as sharks SHOW no signs of brain degeneration as they age. Side effect, they all get smarter. Working from the most advanced research station in the world astonishing progress is made until one night, the sharks fight back. Then it’s human against shark in the battle for ultimate supremacy.
Directed by Renny Harlin who has bought us such memorable movies as “The Long Kiss Goodnight” and “Cliffhanger”, Deep Blue Sea moves along at a steady pace from start to finish. Anxious moments abound throughout the movie causing you to jump and be forever checking the water for the next sign of attack.
Keep an eye on the killing ORDER and who survives, as it’s not what you would expect.
