The premise of this movie is that when Peter Kelso turns 33 the devil will take control of his soul allowing him to once again bring darkness to the earth and to rule humanity. The catch? Peter isn’t aware of this upcoming transformation and therefore if he can be killed before turning 33 the devil will have to wait a little longer.

Maya Larkin (Ryder) is the only person capable of figuring out Peters secret due to her disturbing past that gives her a special insight in what he is about to go through.

What follows is a cat and mouse game where Peter finds out that he cannot trust anyone and more importantly, is he the devil in wait or simply the victim of circumstance?

Directors commentary with takes some getting used to due to the directors extremely thick accent.

9 Deleted scenes with optional commentary - With the exception of one scene these scenes do not add anything to the movie and were right to be cut. The majority are simply extended or alternate versions of existing scenes.

Interesting premise.. however, Ryder can be little annoying at times. Visually stunning and sounds incredible.
