Dead Again

Stars: Kenneth Branagh, Emma Thompson, Andy Garcia, Wayne Knight, Derek Jacobi, Robin Williams

How many times can you die for love?”

Grace (Thompson) showed up at St Mary’s Church a couple of nights back with no recollection of who she is and terrifying dreams that involve her murder. What begins with amnesia snowballs into a sinister plot that threatens the life of anyone close to her, which is intertwined with a past life that is destined to repeat itself.

THE EXTRAS

* Audio Commentary : The first commentary features Scott Frank (Screenwriter), Lindsay Doran (Producer) & Charles Maguire (Line Producer) They reveal some interesting facts about why scenes were created or added and have a great sense of humour throughout paricularly during the end credits. The only minor blemish was that they tended to lapse into silence are various points which was disappointing.

* Audio Commentary : The second commentary features the star and director of “Dead Again” Kenneth Branagh. He gets you interested from the start with his interpretations of scenes as well bringing a sense of humour throughout. Like the first commentary however there tended to be long periods of silence up to a couple of minutes long.

* Theatrical Trailer

CONCLUSION

A very clever, dramatic movie, with an excellent twist…
