A Ma Soeur
STARS : Anais Reboux, Roxane Mesquida, Libero De Rienzo
Two sisters Anais (Reboux) and Elena (Mesquida), are on holidays with their parents. Elena is beautiful, 15 years old, promiscuous and flirty while poor Anais is her fatter, younger sister.
One morning in ORDER to get away from the watchful gaze of their parents, they walk to the town not far from where they are staying. Here they meet a young Italian named Fernando (De Rienzo).
Fernando is your normal red blooded male with only one thing on his mind. Fernando is instantly smitten by Elena and she invites him to “visit” that night, even though he is in University and she shares a room with her young sister.
They start an odd relationship, under the gaze of Anais, however, Elena, confused about men and what is expected of her, allows Fernando to sleep with her, under the impression that he loves her and wants to marry her. He gives her a ring, stolen from his mother.
Anais is confused about Elena’s stupidity with Fernando and thinks she is foolish. This is shown in more detail as the film progresses and an obvious love/hate relationship between the two sisters is explored in greater detail.
When his mother retrieves the ring, Elena’s mother is furious and cancels the holiday. But Elena, has different plans for her mother and sister, which has a quite sinister ending.
Verdict : Ok

CONCLUSION
A disturbing film which captures the innocence of puberty and the fear of sexuality. With the french art flavour.
