Can’t tell you much about this particular collection of 6 x 30 minute episodes, I’m afraid, as the promo DVD I have won’t play in my player!!!!

I have only the DVD cover to help me! If you want to know my overall feelings on Absolutely Fabulous, however, read my review on the fourth series (which my player decided to play) and it should be obvious that I highly recommend it, irrespective of which series it is.

Rest assured I have seen all the series when they aired on ABC.

The six episodes on this DVD are: Doorhandle, Happy New Year, Sex, Jealous, Fear and The End.

Some time is spent in New York this series - probably my favourite city in the whole world!! What could be bad about that? Same loopy characters.

Special guests this time around are: Naomi Campbell, Lulu and Ruby Wax among others. Nothing like a good cameo.

THE EXTRAS

Special features on this DVD are scene selection, 15 minutes of outtakes and a photo gallery. I expect is dolby digital stereo, and it’s aspect is 4:3.

CONCLUSION

I’m sure if I could SEE this series on this DVD that I would love it as much as the rest!

I guess it’s kinda cheeky giving it a star rating when I haven’t watched it, but, hell - I’ve come this far.

Same rating as series four - less extras in this one though.
