We all know “Play School” most of us grew up with it and now have the pleasure of passing it on to our kids. My kids (aged 3 and 4) really enjoyed this one! It’s not a SHOW for bigger kids; so don’t expect an older child to thank you for this one. Playschool is aimed squarely at the 2 to 6 year old child and is totally with out any pretence of being anything other than entertainment for small kids. This is probably most of Playschool’s appeal and is why it has worked, so well for the last 30 years.

Slightly revamped, with some clever animation of the “playschool song” and some additions to the toy line up, but essentially not much has changed! ABC has found a magic formula that works and has kept it. It is obvious ABC know what they are doing in the kids entertainment arena. The bright costumes the young actors and the toys are so appealing to kids, and they sit locked to the screen for the length of the DVD.

The presenters do a great job here, they are happy and upbeat, and even though the concept of playschool is old, the DVD is far from tired and shows no sign of aging. If you have kids in this age GROUP & don’t have a Playschool DVD you’d better add this one to your collection.

As with any “ABC kids” DVD its very predictable and what you see on the cover is what you get on the DVD, nursery rhymes and games in a Playschool setting…. Enjoy!
