THE EXTRAS

Unfortunately this was just more of the same- predictable and boring but it did EXPLAIN a lot of the scenes and why they were shot, so not a total wast of time. I don’t usually complain that there is too much, but this movie & the commentary took me 4 days to review mainly because I just couldn’t stay awake and focussed.

CONCLUSION

This is an epic film that won heaps of awards and gained Kevin Costner great acclaim both as an actor and director. It’s the story of Lt. John Dunbar and his travels and adventures in the great western frontier. Lt. Dunbar was posted to a deserted outpost in Sioux Indian country, when he arrived he found that the soldiers he was to be in charge of had deserted and he was completely on his own. He makes the best of his bad situation and actually quite enjoys the solitary life until one day he comes across some Sioux Indians.
