Friday After Next
This is the sequel to the movie “Next Friday”. Finally the troublesome two, Craig (Ice Cube) and Day Day (Mike Epps) have moved out. Not as funny as expected but some interesting characters.
The two have a new job as security guys at the local shopping strip. They start their new job the morning a thieving Santa Claus steals all their Christmas presents and rent money. Unfortunately for them the landlady?s son, Damon has just got out of prison, a big old friend and it?s rent time. The story is a bit slow and not one of their best movies for clever jokes.
There?s a love interest for the clever one, Craig but his slow cousin, Day Day really wants to believe that she is after him. No-one in the mall will tell the two why the last two security guys left but they know it?s not good when everyone ignores the question. The Santa keeps popping up and is a clever element to the story.
The main menu has a clever little cartoon based around the hunt for the evil Santa and got me interested in the story to come.
