Monsters Inc
If you haven’t seen this then go TODAY and buy it and watch it…come on do it now so you will have something really funny to talk about at dinner tonight.
I really rally love Pixar and Disney together, long may this business relationship flourish. Everything they touch is magic. Monsters Inc in pure animated genius.
The story all begins at the power plant in Monster land. The monsters are suffering an energy crisis and are forced to use the energy of children’s screams to power their homes and offices. In an effort to get more screams the Monsters go into children’s rooms at night via a secret door system and scare them. The most effective scarers are rewarded, and it’s all done under the watchful eye of Mr Waternoose and the Monster Incorporated governing body.
Cute little Boo a child from the real world, finds herself in the land of Monsters, when the evil Randall Monster kidnaps her from her bed. Sully and Mike two monsters who work in the Monster Inc Power plant are forced to rethink the myth that children are deadly to Monsters and even a touch from a child can be fatal, when Sully finds Boo and takes her home. Mike and Sully have been friends a long time but Boo may just stretch their friendship too far.
Sully is determined to return Boo to her bedroom, and must keep her from Randall at all costs. Sully and Mike have their work cut out for them when they are double-crossed by Mr Waternoose and must now try uncover the truth behind the running of Monster Inc.
This is one of the best animated movies I have ever seen, just when you think Disney & Pixar have done it all they bring out something better. I have watched Monsters Inc over and over and it is one of the most treasured movies in our collection but I could still watch it again and thoroughly enjoy it. The story is simple but clever and has enough action and adventure to keep you enthralled to the end. The picture and sound clarity are second to none making it a pleasure to watch.
Don’t be without Monster Inc in your home collection; even if you don’t have kids this DVD is an absolute “MUST HAVE”.
