Skulls 3
Now I hadn?t watched 1 or 2 before I watched 3 and it didn?t seem I had to. The movie is based around a frat group in a U.S.A. college called ‘The Skulls’. It started off with our main character, Taylor having a dream about here deceased brother. How he died I guess number two would have answered this, but it then jumps to her in a interrogation room being questioned by good cop and bad cop. Someone else is dead now and she seems to know why.
It jumps from the interview to the actual circumstances leading up to the death. Which then introduces us to her dad who is a member of this great club The Skulls. They banter on about how the brother really wanted to be in the club and make dad proud. Taylor has this great idea that she might want to join but considering her boyfriend is trying to apply and she is a woman, it makes this a little difficult. But she goes to the Dean and states her case while Roger the leader sets in to her disgust. It seems it is against the college?s anti-discrimination laws and she gets invited to participate in the initiation ceremonies. She is finally accepted or should I say pass the tests and she gets a watch like every other Skull member does.
Things start going bad and Taylor is determined to sort it out. I believe this was supposed to be a thriller. It was interesting for the first half hour but after that it just dragged on. And considering you have the option of 8, yes 8 different languages it could?ve been a joke from the very beginning. All I?ll finish with is how did they get to number 3?
THE EXTRAS
No extras other than the 8 languages, which included French, the Netherlands and Polish. Again I ask why?
CONCLUSION
When a strong-minded woman decides to challenge an all male frat club and succeeds, she realises sometimes it?s better to let sleeping dogs lie.
