Scooby Doo Greatest Mysteries

This DVD was put together as a request from fans and is a sort of ?Best of Scooby Doo? style. Still even though the episodes were not written to run one from another they all flow together nicely and the DVD is a great compilation of arguably the finest episodes of Scooby Doo ever.

My house is full of Scooby Doo fanatics; my 8-year-old son is a die -hard fan and was so happy when this series was released on DVD, (He owned this on video and the video was becoming a little worse for wear. One of the best features of DVD is the durability so it was great to be able to update the home collection with a DVD). Scooby Doo Greatest Mysteries is just that a compilation of all the favourites. Follow the gang across the world to a mixed bag of destinations, as they investigate a host of ghost related mysteries unmasking the truth and the villain all in time to be home for a large dinner of Scooby Snacks. Scooby Doo runs to a predictable formula that works well to provide great entertainment. There are four episodes on this DVD; “Hassle in the Castle”, “A Clue for Scooby Doo”, “Jeepers it?s the Creepers” and the “Backstage Rage”, running for approx 85 mins. Make sure you don?t miss this one, its one of the best.

THE EXTRAS

There are not really any special features on this DVD, but it does have:

A Music video - with lots of animated fun and a great rehash of the Scooby song. And some fun things to go on your PC - a screen saver and some cool sounds.

The bonus features are not really expected on such and old video that was basically transferred to DVD.

CONCLUSION

Scooby Doo Greatest Mysteries is just that a compilation of all the favourites. Follow the gang across the world to a mixed bag of destinations, as they investigate a host of ghost related mysteries unmasking the truth and the villain all in time to be home for a large dinner of Scooby Snacks.
