Jeepers Creepers 2

This was not a B-grade flick. It had the special effects and the right music to set the scene. It begins with a young boy in a corn field putting up some scarecrows, his dad is off in the distance harassing him about securing them properly while his older brother is under the old ute fixing something. The old dog starts to bark and the older brother yells at him to shut-up, he doesn?t. The young boy wanders over to one of the scarecrows convinced something isn?t right, before he can get far the scarecrow leaps off it?s perch and takes the young boy off into the sunset.

Meanwhile a group of high school kids are in a yellow bus on their way home from a football match. They?ve won of course and the boys are happy, while the cheerleaders discuss their boyfriend?s bad habits. They get a flat tyre and grind to a halt. No one can be contacted on the radio, so after some time debating about what to do, they all climb back on the bus and proceed with the flat tyre. It starts getting dark and before you know it a second flat tyre takes them off the road for good. The bus driver has a bad feeling about this and gets out the emergency box. As the students start getting upset, the teachers try to calm them down, all the while they?re being watched. They pull out the flares and before you know it the head teacher has vanished.

This does not settle the kids and too soon the bus driver disappears into thin air. Panic sets in and arguments start, stay on the bus or get off the bus? To make the right choice may take some convincing from an unknown source and how does one person know so much about this creature that?s stalking them to their grave?

THE EXTRAS

There is a huge selection of extras including: commentary by the director himself and cast; ?creeper? commentary by the Creeper himself, the production illustrator and the special effects person; behind the scenes; featurettes; deleted scenes and photo galleries.

CONCLUSION

When a high school sports bus is forced off the road by an unknown source, the team really do have to win this one. It may not matter how they win but when your life is on the line you always seem to try that bit harder to stay in the game.
