Doctor Who: Series 2 Volume 2

whos2v2.jpgWhat can be said about this excellent television series from the BBC? It is an outstanding re-invention of the classic sci-fi show.

This disc sees The Doctor (David Tennant) and Rose (Billie Piper) travel to Scotland where they must protect Queen Victoria from a werewolf, followed by a quick jaunt to the present day where there’s more than a little jealousy between Rose and former travelling companion Sarah Jane Smith.

Finally, The Doctor travels to the distant future where he finds a derelict space ship which contains a portal to earth’s past.

This is a must have series of DVDs for any sci-fi fan with three of the best stories from the latest series in this volume. My only compaint about the new Doctor Who is that they only make 13 episodes a year - not nearly enough in my book.

Verdict: Buy the DVDs and watch them again and again until the next season starts.
