While LG Electronics are expected to announce a dual format player, Warner have announced a dual format DVD that will play on both HD-DVD and Blu-ray players. Called Total-HD, Warner hope that being able to buy a single disc that is playable under both standards will boost consumer confidence and lead to incerased sales of HD movies.
