About HD DVD in Australia.

As of 31/03/07 Toshiba has sacked its Australian distributor Castel Electronics. Toshiba is in the process of taking over the Australian distribution is not releasing the HD-XE1 until(IIRC) 01/06/07 to coincide with the official launch of the HD DVD format in Australia.

So HD DVD has not been 'Officially' launched in Australia and we'll just have to wait till June to see what happens.

cheers
